    If you’re anything like us, you get excited about the thought of a good food festival, and we’re especially excited about Stratford-upon-Avon’s upcoming Food Festival on the 23rd and 24th of September 2017.

    Mouthwatering markets, passionate producers and delicious food demonstrationsa re just some of the components we have to look forward to when Stratford-upon-Avon’s town centre food festival returns.

Bustling producers’ market will showcase region’s food and drink offering, all against the backdrop of Stratford-upon-Avon’s historic streets. 2. Taste and Ale trails give visitors chance to try food and drink from 20 town centre venues. 3. Demonstrations and hands-on workshops from local culinary talent plus evening with Yotam Ottolenghi in partnership with Stratford Literary Festival


    Favourite September Festival

    Preparations are underway for this year’s Stratford Town Centre Food Festival, showcasing the Bard’s home as one of the region’s premier food and drink destinations.

    This free festival, which takes place on the weekend of September 23rd and 24th, is one of the highlights of the calendar in Stratford-upon-Avon, with a bustling producers’ market, demonstrations and hands-on workshops, and popular trails taking visitors to many of the town’s independent businesses.

    Stratforward BID are the super-star organisers of Stratford-upon-Avon’s most popular festivals, The River Festival, Stratford Festival of Motoring and the upcoming Stratford-upon-Avon Food Fesival.. not to mention all the wonderful and festive Christmas time fun in December. As all the great Stratforward festivals and events, the food festival is free and offers fun for all the family.. we can’t wait! See you there!


    A weekend of foodie fun

    Last year, Stratford-upon-Avon’s Food Festival attracted more than 80,000 people last year for a weekend of food and fun, all set against the historic backdrop of Shakespeare’s home town.

    This year Stratforward has partnered with Cotswold Markets to deliver a bustling market brimming with nearly 100 stalls including regional food producers showcasing a mouthwatering selection of the very finest food and drink.

    Alongside the market, the festival will feature an action-packed programme of demonstrations from town centre chefs and producers at The Waterside Cookery Theatre, plus workshops and hands-on classes for adults and children alike at other venues across the town centre.

    This year Stratforward is also working collaboratively with Stratford Literary Festival which is hosting an evening with highly-acclaimed chef Yotam Ottolenghi on Friday, September 22nd .

    A regular hit at the Town Centre Food Festival are the popular Taste and Ale Trails, giving visitors the chance to try tasty treats from around 20 town centre restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs across the historic town.
