Robbie’s Barn is a high quality holiday cottage set a peaceful hamlet on the edge of the northern Cotswolds, very close to Shakespeare’s Stratford upon Avon. The cottage was recently modernised and has many ECO friendly modifications incl solar panels and ground source heat pump. Internally the cottage, which is on one level (ideal for limited mobility) is very warm, welcoming and homely with some delightful touches including beautiful oak beams and a wood burning stove. Robbie’s is situated in Fulready which has easy access to Stratford, along with the Cotswolds towns of Moreton in Marsh and Stow in the Wold. We loved the owners’ home grown produce which you are welcome to purchase! In our opinion this is a very good standard of accommodation.
Robbie’s Barn is situated in the small village of Fulready, just off the Fosse Way, and only 8 miles from Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon and within easy reach of The Cotswolds and Warwick. Stratford is world famous for its theatres (three of them, incl the Royal Shakespeare Company) but in addition there is a wide variety of pubs, shops and restaurants. The market towns of Shipston-on-Stour and Moreton in Marsh are a short drive away with many excellent pubs and restaurants and an abundance of individual shops selling local produce.
The village is surrounded by a network of footpaths and bridle ways to explore, with at least two pubs within a two mile walk.It consists of a cluster of beautiful stone and brick properties among them Paddock Farm where guests can buy Tamworth sausages and bacon and maybe even stock up on meat for the freezer. On the way back why not pick up free range eggs from Manor Farm, that’s breakfast sorted!
